Logan Sweet's father own's a candy factory. Everyday he wakes up to the smell of cotton candy. One day a candymaking contest is to be held at the factory. The 4 contestants are all 12 and their names are Phillip Ransford the third, Miles and  Daisy. The contestants find out things about their long lost past.(Exept Miles.) Logan has burns  on his arms and face from sticking them in a hot vat of chocolate trying to get a plastic car back to give back to a new friend. The friend was Phillip and Daisy finds out that she missed a birthday and that she is really 13.It is a very funny and good book and I rate it 5 stars.

Roys father says the owls will fly away but Roy says they have babys. Can Roy and  his friends Mullet Fingers and his stepsister  Beatrice save the owls in time or will the babys be killed. Giants Beware.

Red - headed Claudette wants to kill a giant. She and her friend Marie and her little brother Gaston travel out to kill the giant that eat's (or ate) baby feet. Claudette's father fought with monster's until a dragon ate one of his legs and an arm. Gaston who wants to be a baker when her grows up gets some help from Marie to make some chocolate pastery's  to distract Claudette's father so Claudette can look for a map in her  fathers secret trunk. On the way to find the giant they nearly get eaten and Marie nearly gets stuck marrying a fish!
When they find the giant it turns out to be a baby giant and he likes  boysenberries instead of baby feet. He only likes to tickle baby feet. It is an awsome book and you should really read it.

Big Nate goes for broke

11 year old Nate Wright wants to win. Win against Jefferson middle school. He always gets in trouble when he draws comics in class so he goes to detention a lot. He starts a comic club called the Doodlers so he has a place to draw without getting in trouble. He has to find a girl to join the Doodlers. Then at the summer dance things go wrong. Soon he finds out that he has to go to JEFFERSON MIDDLE SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the kids there are mean. espesally Nolan. He is really mean to Chad one of Nates friends. Chad hurt his butt so he needs a medical donut. He says it keeps the pressure off his butt. Nolan steals Chads medical donut and starts using it as a frisbee. Dee Dee another of Nates friends tries to get the donut back but Nolan wont let her. Can Nate get Chads donut back, win to Jefferson and find a girl to join the Doodlers? Read to find out.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

This is the 2nd book in the Harry Potter series. In this Harry meets the house elf Dobby. The defense against the dark arts is the popular Gilderoy Lockhart.  He finds out that the hair of Slytherin has come to the school opened the chamber of secrets to let out a monster. Harry and Ron soon find out what the monster is when they find out that Hermione has been petrified because she saw the monster in a mirror. They find out that it is a basilisk. A serpent like animal that has a poison in its fangs that can only be cured by phoenix tears. Their phoenix Fawkes comes and heals Harry when he gets bitten. In this book Harry and Ron follow the  spiders, bring back the petrified kids, finds out what happened to Moaning Myrtle one of the school ghosts who lives in the bathroom, helps Hagrid get out of Azkaban one of the jails and kills part of Voldemort. Find out everything else. Read the book.

This book is the first book in the Harry Potter books. It is by J.K. Rowling. In this book Harry discovers that he is a wizard and that his parents were killed by the evil dark wizard Voldemort. When he gets to the train station he meets a new friend called Ron. When he gets to Hogwarts the school he goes to the great hall with the half giant Hagrid. The welcoming feast is also the sorting. Harry is sorted into Gryfindor. He also meets more friends also in Gryfindor like Hermione and Neville. It is a good book. There are 7 of them. They are very good.
