Guardians of Ga'Hoole #7:The Hatching

Guardians of Ga'Hoole #7:The Hatching
 By Kathryn  Lasky

Problems are blooming for the Great Tree in the Barrens. Nyra's new egg has hatched---same as the day as the Eclipse. He is named Nyroc from the tradition of all chicks born on the Eclipse. Nyroc finds the truth about his fathers killer--and his firesight. Gwyndor is killed. Nyroc finds out the truth about why his mother let him make friends and he runs away with his best and only friend. He sees a strange owl called Otulissa talking to a scroom who seems to be called Strix Struma in his dream. After finding a strange rabbit who can read the future and past. When Nyroc hears the stories of the Great Tree he decides that he will run away.

This was an amazing book, but kind of annoying that it was mostly about Nyroc and that you have absolutely, positively no idea what is going on at the Great Tree. I think that they might have a little bit too much owl swearing but the book is still interesting.

This was a kind of confusing book because you can never tell what will happen next.
I really liked this book and I rate it five stars.
